Amsterdam, the Netherlands
I started my career in advertising by being an art director at JWT Amsterdam. After being named 'Young Talent of the Year' by the VEA (Dutch Association of Advertising), I made the bold but rewarding move to JWT International.
By 2008 I switched JWT for a position at BSUR-HQ, Amsterdam. In that same year, I was proudly -and gratefully- selected to represent The Netherlands at the 'Cannes Lions Roger Hatchuel Academy'.
In 2009, I joined BSUR founder/ECD Joost Perik in the development and execution of the challenging Pitch assigned for the global 'MINI account'. And -shoot me, Sally- we won!
Shortly thereafter I was offered to name myself Creative Supervisor. This position covered the selection, mentorship and supervision of all new creative talent at BSUR as well as the development and execution of incoming client-briefs & ongoing projects.
After 5 years I moved to XXS Amsterdam, where I'm currently based, working on national and international clients such as 'HEMA International'. In addition I am involved at Hallo Academie as teacher/educationalist and member of their selection committee.
Throughout my career I am awarded national as international recognitions and awards, judged on several occasions and gave my professional advice at both the 2011 pan-European 'IHAVEANIDEA' Portfolio Night and the Dutch 'Young Guns' Portfolio Night.
As a CD I strive to find new ways to engage and entertain consumers in tradigital ways and by doing this solve the business problems of our progressive clients.
